St. Andrew's PTA

At St. Andrew's we have a very active and supportive group of parents and carers who generously volunteer their spare time to bring a little extra magic to school life. Working diligently away in the background, our PTA organise and run everything from bake sales, quiz nights, school discos, uniform swaps and the many many crucial refreshment stands at events held throughout the year.

Our PTA team works tirelessly to fundraise for the school, which is critical in enabling us to create the kind of environment and deliver the kind of events which make St. Andrew's such a special place to learn and grow.
Examples of what the money raised by our PTA goes towards include: outdoor facilities and playground activities, AV equipment for discos and events, subsidising events and outings, welly racks, school library refurbishment and much more.

Aside from the PTA, parents and carers kindly volunteer in many different ways around the school (subject to a full DBS check) including in-class support, listening to children read, lunchtime supervision, manning the door at the school disco and joining us on school trips.

There are a number of volunteering opportunities available, so if you have some free time and are interested in helping out, either on a regular basis or just as a one-off, please contact the office.
