PSHE and RSE

PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) and RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) are part of the National Curriculum and taught to equip children with lifelong skills that will enable them to flourish personally and socially.

St. Andrew's adopts a well-respected scheme called Jigsaw, which is a mindful teaching and learning programme that includes the statutory RSE (Relationships Education, Sex Education and Health Education) and has a strong focus on emotional and mental health and wellbeing.

Jigsaw believes that PSHE is vital for children’s development and that it is most effective when parents and carers work in partnership with the school.
